No godmodding, for the love of all that is good. 003.
If I upset you in any way, please talk it out with me first. It's more than likely it was not intentional and something i said came across very different than what I meant. Please feel free to ask if it was meant to be taken that way! We're all adults here, let's please act like it.
002. I will not write with anyone below the age of 18, even 18 is pushing my limits. For my own comfort, I prefer those writing with me to be over the age of 21. 004.
No rp fighting unless spoken about it first. I don't mind facing IC consequences, but I don't like people assuming they can just slam my character's head into a wall or something without talking to me about it or giving me a chance to react.

features + demeanour
Elune is a woman of few words, counting actions as her only means of trusting another. Despite her fair, though slightly grisly, features, she works hard, digging through soil and processing bodies for burial.
attire
Elune wears aetherically conducting robes that aid her in her spells and summonings, though they do little to protect her body, that is what her skeletal bodyguards are for. They are what one can stereotype as "witch clothes". She more often than not wears a large hat that shields her from the sun, rain, and wind.

home life
Despite being born with blank eyes, and the blindness that came with that, Elune was raised as a happy child, raised with the love that a child of a large clan could get. Despite this, though, she was still a shy, timid child, unless she was under the tutelage of her aunt, Izora.

character description
Calm, composed, and deeply introspective, she carries herself with the quiet dignity of someone who has long made peace with the presence of death. Soft-spoken and measured in her words, she commands attention not with volume, but with presence—a steady voice in a world often overwhelmed by noise. Her demeanor is respectful, almost reverent, shaped by years of guiding others through loss both as a necromancer and an undertaker.Though her work deals in the macabre, there is a profound sense of empathy beneath her stillness. She listens more than she speaks, and when she does speak, her words are deliberate—carrying the weight of experience and quiet compassion. Methodical and precise in her rituals, she finds comfort in structure and tradition, yet remains open-minded, honoring both the living and the dead with equal care.Behind her serene exterior lies a steely resolve. She does not shy away from darkness, but neither does she romanticize it. To her, death is not an ending, but a transition—one that deserves grace, respect, and understanding.

The Beginning, Home.
Elune was born as the second daughter to her clan's Matriarch, Yakih, and twin
sister to the second-born son, Yakih'to.
The Vashai Clan has dwelled in the heart of the great forest since time beyond memory. Long ago, their ancestors fled a world consumed by greed and destruction, seeking refuge beneath the ancient trees. The forest welcomed them, and the Vashai became its children, living as one with the land. Where others see wilderness, the Vashai see kin — the beasts, the trees, even the rivers are family to them.Every life taken is honored. The Vashai waste nothing: skins and furs clothe their bodies, bones shape tools and sacred ornaments, and the organs nourish both body and spirit. Their hunters whisper thanks over their kills, and their shamans weave spells from bone dust, sap, and ash, calling upon the forest’s spirits to guide and protect them. The Vashai leave no mark that does not heal; no structure that does not return to the earth. Outsiders who dare enter their domain tell of strange chants carried on the wind, glowing symbols etched in bark, and silent figures with eyes like starlight watching from the shadows. All who pass into the Vashai woods are warned: respect the forest, or become part of it.
The Dream. It was a dream that brought the young woman to her matron and mother, Yakih, as well as her elder sister Yonah who trained to take over the position of matron and wise woman, so shortly after the Seventh Umbral Calamity. A loud wail-like keening came from the lands both near and distant, causing her to awaken in a cold sweat and her ears ringing. "I am needed." she says to the pair. It wasn't a request, rather a signal of her leaving. They would be the only ones who knew of her departure. Yakih only had one thing to say "Bring home our brethren, and those in need of a home." The Journey.
She prospered in her new role as guide for the dead and living alike, assisting lost souls to pass on, and directing those who had lost their families or homes to her clan to provide shelter. Each step forward deepened her understanding of the fractured world, and though shadows lingered at every turn, her quiet strength became a beacon—steady and unwavering amidst the silence of broken lives. The weight of countless stories pressed upon her, yet she carried them without complaint, knowing each soul she helped was a thread woven back into the fragile fabric of her people’s future.
Dying Breaths. Years after the Calamity, as the world struggled to mend, predators still stalked the weak. A blind necromancer, wandering alone with skeletons at her side, became the target of a band of cruel men. They seized her in silence, dragging her to a crumbling shack deep in the wilds. Feared by many as a harbinger of death and decay, she was seen as a blight to be purged. Though the attackers first intended only to scare her off, their malice deepened. Their leader, drunk on power, led them past the point of no return. In the end, they tortured her to death. With her final breath, she whispered a spell in her native tongue. Terrified it was a curse, they hacked her body to pieces, hoping it would keep her from ever returning. But the earth did not forget. Skeletons erupted from the soil, clawing down each man, tearing them apart with the same brutality they had shown. Then, as if driven by will beyond the grave, the undead gathered her scattered remains. The aether from her violent death surged, mending bone and flesh. Slowly, breath returned to her lungs, and her soul slipped back into place.
Home is Where the Heart Is.
Elune was born within the deep recesses of the Black shroud to a generally traditional, but yet still open-minded, Keeper clan. She grew up happy, and values her family, though once she set out upon her journey, she soon found there wasn't only one place she could consider her home. This does not diminish the sentimental value that her birthplace holds within her heart, though. She holds intimate knowledge of the Black shroud and it's various regions, should you need a guide of sorts, it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Gentle Necromancy.
Necromancy is generally considered anything but gentle. Ripping corpses from their final resting place to do their masters' bidding-- However, Elune is not one to disturb the dead where they rest if she does not obtain permission. Before reanimating a corpse (usually a skeleton, as she prefers those) she will attempt to contact it's soul to ask permission, though on a rare occasion, a soul will offer before she even asks. This set of boundaries can sometimes leave her without guard, leaving only her speaking skull to guide her through the forests until she can find a willing set of bones.Perhaps you have heard of a peculiar witch donned in white roaming with a few skeletons at her flank and her front, or perhaps witnessed her communing with a spirit with a corpse sitting next to her.
Far From Home.
While having been outside of her clan's territory for years now, the woman has made little to no effort at attempting to blend in with the other common folk, still using torn and usually dirt-stained robes to adorn her body
It's quite rare to see a Keeper of the Moon miqo'te, especially one dressed in such traditional clothes, roaming outside the Shroud. You are free to inquire, just be careful of her personal guards.
